Global Supplementary Grant Program for the 201011 |

The OSI's Network Scholarship Programs is pleased to announce the Global
Supplementary Grant Program (GSGP) for the 2010 2011 academic year.
GSGP offers supplementary grants to students from select countries including
Ukraine, who wish to pursue doctoral studies in the Humanities and
Social Sciences at accredited universities in Asia, Australia, Europe,
the Middle/Near East, and North America.
Students pursuing doctorates in the medical, physical, chemical, technical or
natural sciences as well as fine or performing arts are not eligible for this grant.

The deadline for students pursuing a Ph.D. in Asia, Australia, North America,
or the Middle East is April 2, 2010.

The new Call for Proposals for CEU Summer University 2011 |

The program is seeking innovative, research-based and/or
policy-oriented course proposals taught by a team of 5-7
outstanding faculty members, preferably a good mix of eastern
and western scholars.

2010-2011 Opportunity Program in Ukraine |

The Opportunity Program, funded by the U.S. Department of State,
is designed to support the application process to U.S. higher
education institutions for students who are highly qualified
but are unable to cover expenses related to the application
process. To be eligible for funding, students must be applying
to degree-programs (AA/AS, BA/BS, LLM, MA/MS, MBA, Ph.D., etc.).
The Opportunity Program offers no guarantee of acceptance or
financial aid awards at U.S. institutions. All award decisions
are made on a case-by-case basis. Priority consideration will be
given to applicants who have worked closely with an EducationUSA
adviser to make informed decisions about academic goals and plans.

Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) |

Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund (MMMF) provides financial assistance to women from developing
countries during their studies in the United States or Canada. The purpose of the grant is to support
the education of women from developing countries who are committed to improving the lives of women and
children in their home countries.
On-line application for the academic year 2010-11 will be available from November 2, 2009
to March 18, 2010. Women from developing countries (including Ukraine) enrolled at US
or Canadian colleges/universities will be eligible. Applications can only be submitted by accessing
MMMF website at www.mmmf-grants.org and completing the online application form.
