invite applications for scholarships in the field of European Studies. At Maastricht University three different specializations are offered, and one course is offered at Aarhus University. The courses offered by these universities are very different in focus and approach. Candidates may apply to 1 or maximum 2 of them.

Scholarships at Maastricht University are offered for maximum 18 months and
Scholarships at Aarhus University are offered for maximum 24 months.

CAMBRIDGE COLLEGES HOSPITALITY SCHEME 2012  

Cambridge university, in conjunction with the Open Society Foundations, invites applications from scholars who wish to work in the University’s libraries or to contact academic specialists in their subjects during the summer months (July-September 2012)

Scholars must be of post-doctoral or equivalent status and will be university teachers or members of research institutes.

The UEP is a two-year fellowship program involving one year, non-degree liberal arts study in the United States and one-year community service leadership in one’s home country.

Eligible applicants are second-year students studying:
American Studies, Art History, Classical Studies, Cultural Anthropology, Economic Theory, Fine or Performing Arts, History, International Relations, Journalism, Law, Literature and Languages, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, or Women’s or Gender Studies at the university level.

OSF Cambridge Scholarships 2012-13  

JOINTLY-FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

The Open Society Foundation-London and the Cambridge Overseas Trust invite applications for the above scholarships at the University of Cambridge for the academic year 2012-13.

The scholarships are for taught postgraduate programs leading to the award of the MPhil and LLM Law degrees:

  • MPhil in Conservation Leadership, MPhil in Education,
  • MPhil in Environmental Science, MPhil in Environment, Society and Development,
  • MPhil in Environmental Policy, MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies,
  • MPhil in Public Health, LLM (Public Law).

presents a professional exchange program - Legislative Fellows Program (LFP), funded by the US Department of State which offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in, and exposure to, United States government.

2010-2011 Opportunity Program in Ukraine   

The Opportunity Program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, is designed to support the application process to U.S. higher education institutions for students who are highly qualified but are unable to cover expenses related to the application process. To be eligible for funding, students must be applying to degree-programs (AA/AS, BA/BS, LLM, MA/MS, MBA, Ph.D., etc.). The Opportunity Program offers no guarantee of acceptance or financial aid awards at U.S. institutions. All award decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. Priority consideration will be given to applicants who have worked closely with an EducationUSA adviser to make informed decisions about academic goals and plans.
