CAMBRIDGE COLLEGES HOSPITALITY SCHEME

Oxford and Cambridge universities, in conjunction with the Open Society Institute,
invite applications from
scholars from selected countries, including Ukraine,
who wish to work in the universities' libraries or to
contact academic specialists in their subjects.
Scholars will normally be of post-doctoral or equivalent status
and will be university teachers or members of research institutes.
Applicants must have a good knowledge of spoken English.

CURRICULUM RESOURCE CENTER in cooperation with the Departments and Programs of
the Central European University is offering the following Fall 2006 sessions:

Medieval Studies - "Roman, Early Medieval, Medieval - Continuity, Discontinuity" (16 - 22
September, 2006),

Gender - "Gender and Post-State Socialism" (13 - 17 November, 2006)
CRC applicants must be university teachers and/ or professionals (who teach part-time)
in the Social Sciences and Humanities who are preparing to revise or develop their
courses and have sufficient English language proficiency.

The Global Supplementary Grant Program
offers supplementary grants to students
from CEE and the former Soviet Union to pursue doctoral studies in the humanities
and social sciences in Western Europe, the Middle/Near East,
Asia, Australia, and North America.
Only those students with confirmed financial support from other sourses will receive grants.
Grants cover costs in one of the following categories:
tuition and fees, living expenses, other.

CEU Curriculum Research Center is the Central European University's outreach program for Social Science teaching.
Each session offers an intensive week-long period for syllabi review, library work and meetings with CEU professors,
department/program heads and also offers the opportunity of attending CEU teaching sessions in the relevant discipline.

2006-2007 Returning Scholars Fellowship Program
The Returning Scholars Fellowship Program (RSFP) invites applications
from talented scholars who seek university positions in their home countries
after studying abroad. Applicants must be citizens of countries of Central and
Eastern Europe, former Soviet Union and Mongolia and should have received (or
will receive by September 2006)their internationally competitive postgraduate
degree in the humanities or social sciences.

CEU Summer University (SUN)
is an academic program at the Central European University for university teachers,
administrators and professionals. It offers a series of intensive two-, three- or four-week
courses in the Social Sciences and Humanities to encourage and promote regional academic
cooperation and research development.
The program encourages applications from advanced Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, junior
faculty, researchers and professionals.

OSI/FCO CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIPS 2006-2007
University of Oxford & University of York
The scholarships are for postgraduate study in the UK for periods of up to one year.
They are jointly funded by the Open Society Institute and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth
Office. Within the Scholarship Scheme the following options are available:
